History

In 2009, we received new ISO certifications, signed two agreements on the EU support and received two awards

•    In June, we adjusted the Quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
•    We received the ISO 14001:2004 Environment management system certificate.
•    We signed a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Business Support Agency for assistance in implementing the project „Innovation in the manufacture of printing production focused on improving business productivity (INOGAM)“.
•    We signed a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Business Support Agency for assistance and implementing the export promotion project under the facility "new opportunities".
•    We were the best among the "Leader" nomination of the Lithuanian printing industry awards.
•    We were the best among the "Best Product" nomination of the Lithuanian printing industry awards.
•    We were one of the best in decorating the city of Kaunas for Christmas celebrations. Kaunas City Mayor presented us a letter of acknowledgement for the creation of festive mood to the city residents.

In 2008 we have implemented an environmental management system, integrated the production facilities of UAB Vilrikė and launched production of new labels

•    We began to prepare the Environmental Management System according to the standard ISO 14001:2005. It is integrated into the Quality Management System. Combining the two systems, the company launched the joint quality and environmental management system.
•    We reorganized UAB Vilrikė company and integrated this company’s manufacturing facilities into our common system. It has become our Vilnius production unit.
•    We started the production of dual layer rip off (peel-off) labels.

In 2007, we launched production of new labels

•     We were the first in the Baltic States to start printing inmould labels.

In 2006, we received new ISO certification, bought new equipment, signed agreements on the EU support

•    We re-certified the Quality Management System and received a new certificate on May 1.
•    In October, we were the first in Eastern Europe to acquire a new generation printing plant Gallus EM 410S with 8 printing stations. It makes cold lamination, cold foiling in any station. The printing process and the device is 100% computer-controlled.
•    We signed a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Business Support Agency for assistance in implementing the project „Modernization of companies and implementation of innovation – construction of buildings, acquisition of plant and equipment at UAB Aurika“. Total project cost was 10.83 million litas. We were granted 4.39 million litas of the European Union support and budget funds of the Republic of Lithuania.

In 2005, we received an award and moved to a new building

•    We received the "Gazelle" award from the project organised by Verslo žinios. It involves small and medium-sized enterprises, which are using their resources to grow, create jobs successfully and spin the economy quicker.
•    On 4 July, a new building of the company was opened.

In 2004, we received three awards

•    Lithuanian Association of Industrialists awarded us with the diploma "Product of the Year" for the label production and technological complex for the relief embossing, foiling and numbering services.

In 2003, we certified ISO, and improved corporate activities

•    On April 30, we received a certificate confirming that our Quality Management System meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
•    We started to produce aluminium foil lids.
•    We increased the product throughput.
•     We ensured timely execution of orders.
•    We controlled our stocks.
•    We motivated workers so that they could work efficiently and do not leave the company.

In 2002, we implemented quality management system, purchased new equipment

•    We implemented the Quality management system according to ISO 9001:2001.
•    We were the first in the Baltic countries to acquire the most modern ESKO Graphics and BASF equipment and technology complex.
•    We bought specialized software and production equipment of compression moulds (laser).

In 2001, we received the award

•    The Lithuanian Industrialists' Association has recognized us as a leading producer of self adhesive label printing service and awarded the service with the diploma "Product of the Year".
•    In 2000, we introduced new technologies
•    Important investment or development. We acquired a first full colour modern printing plant. We mastered new technologies.
•    On January 14, we printed the first full-colour label.

In 1998, a resolution important to us was passed

•    The Government of the Republic of Lithuania approved a resolution on product labelling in the Lithuanian language.
In 1997, we started a new activity – exports
•    We set up a manufacturing unit and acquired the first cutting equipment from South Korea.
•    On November 4, the first price label of roll was manufactured in the company.
•    In December we started to export our products.

In 1994 – 1997 we were looking for new opportunities

•    We imported price labellers from Poland. From one box to ...
•    We imported price labellers from South Korea.
•    First sales for corporate clients.

 The company was established in 1991
•    UAB Aurika was established on July 2. The company traded goods, kitchenware, food products. The company had three employees.
